Supported signals
What SIGNAL³ listens for
Three independent receive-only paths monitor distinct classes of drone-related RF activity. Status is shown against the current engineering build.
Sensing architecture
Three independent ways to see the RF environment.
DJI DroneID
Dedicated passive SDR processing for supported DJI DroneID transmissions, designed to extract aircraft identity and telemetry when available.
DJI sensing hardware and processing path integrated. Live-aircraft telemetry validation underway.
Broadcast Remote ID
Dedicated dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth monitoring for Broadcast Remote ID transmissions from compliant aircraft.
Remote ID receiver integrated across 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and Bluetooth monitoring paths. Live-aircraft validation underway.
FPV / RF
Continuous passive monitoring across common 5.8 GHz FPV frequencies to identify RF activity associated with video-control environments.
56-channel 5.8 GHz RF scanning, adaptive noise-floor measurement and real-time signal detection operating on current hardware.
FPV / RF sensing boundary
Current FPV sensing detects RF activity across common 5.8 GHz FPV frequencies. Additional signal classification is under development to improve discrimination from unrelated 5.8 GHz transmitters.
Operator / control-station information
Supported protocols may transmit control-station, operator or takeoff-location information. SIGNAL³ is designed to display this information when it is present and successfully decoded.
